Today's piece is also from high school, and I wrote it for a few friends of mine. This work conjures up particularly good memories because it was the first piece of mine that was performed for an audience -- and this got two performances! The first performance was as something to listen to during the intermission of a concerto competition at my school, and the second was during the intermission of our spring concert of my senior year. I didn't conduct the first time, but for the second performance, I directed the trio with a pencil.
It is fittingly titled Something for Oboe, Cello, and Harp.
You'll notice that it's just MIDI. I couldn't find the recording of either of the performances.
